I couldn’t help but choke on my cornflakes when I saw the ‘story’.
Appearing in the venerable Fairfax mastheads of the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, the headline drew me in: ‘The Aussie brand everyone will be wearing this winter’.
Everyone eh. Go on, tell me more.
“Templa crosses the boundary of gritty urban wearability with ski slope luxury”.
Hmmm, sounds like a bit of a wank, but tell ’em the price son.
Ummm, $4,000 for that leather puffer. Oh and it gets better …
The Aldi sale shouldn’t continue in its current format.
It’s that time of year again, innit snowlovers?
You know the ski season is nigh when you see the ads crop up on social media or perhaps the catalogue flitting about at your local shopping centre. Or maybe your next door neighbour is dusting off his knuckle dusters and mouthguard and you’re wondering why …

Kangaroo 1 Subaru 0 (pretty good fight by the Subie though)
There was no time to swerve, no time to hit the brakes and no time to think.
At speeds tipping 110 km/hr there was also no way around this being anything but very very ugly.
I barely saw it, but what I did see of it was ENORMOUS.
Then I hit it.
Scotty James -took all before him in 2016/17. Now for the Olympics.
If you want to know what Scotty James has been up to this past six months, even he says it’s best not to look at his social media.
There’s Barcelona, boxing poses and a boat in Miami that could be straight from The Lonely Island film clip.
“My Instagram probably says otherwise – that I have been having a good time but I have been working really hard,” he says with a chuckle.
