Win a stylin’ jacket from Quiksilver!

Posted by on Jun 9, 2017 in Competition | 3 comments

Quiksilver have come to the party this week and provided us with a jacket for the first week of The Snow Gauge winter giveaways.

“But I already bought an Aldi jacket” I hear you say.

You and 22,228 others as it turns out.

To stand out this Southern Hemisphere winter you’ll just need to sign up for The Snow Gauge newsletter to get a shot at winning this sweet Horizon jacket from Quiksilver.

Just to make it clear I have nothing against the German supermarket chain as they are providing a cheap means to get into snow gear which is great.

It’s just that you may want to go next level this season and get into some serious gear from Quiksilver.

Our good friends at Quiky down under (they also do sister brand Roxy, DC, Lib-tech and GNU) have provided us this sweet bit of snow shelter.

Travis Rice wears Quiksilver. He goes ok.

Part of the 2017 New Wave line-up, the Horizon is a lightweight and styley little number that is rated to 10k. Bold and blocky colours are pretty hot right now  while the 3M® Thinsulate® Type M (yeah I know) will keep you plenty warm.

The jacket comes sealed with fully-taped seams and a jacket-to-pant attachment system, and can be refreshed with mesh lined underarm vents when you start to get a bit sweaty hiking out Stanley’s, Australia Drift or whatever else is your backcountry run of choice in Oz.

Special pockets include one for media, goggles and a lens cleaner inside hand warmer pocket.

This particular jacket comes in size medium and is valued at $329.99.

If you already subscribe to The Snow Gauge newsletter, consider yourself eligible to win. Otherwise just sign up below for our weekly newsletter of snow news and fun.

Good luck!

  1. I absolutely love all quicksilver products. I normally buy their summer range but this year I’m planning a trip to perisher and would really appreciate a chance to win a quicksilver jacket as I know the quality will be there.
    Thanks Guys 🙂

  2. My jacket is from 1990 – doesn’t have a spot for my phone to take those magical pics from the top of Mt Buller
