It is with great joy and pride that I can share these recordings with Old Drakies and the broader public. My thanks and appreciation goes to Walter and Elma Dammann for taking the time and the trouble to upload them onto Youtube, a mammoth task.
These recordings are unpublished and not available on CD, very often recorded without the prior knowledge of the artists, giving them the spontaneous and exhilarating quality of a live performance.
I am proud that they have been placed on Youtube as part of my 70th Birthday celebrations and as a reflection of the 27 years of my time as Director of Music at the Drakensberg Boys' Choir School.
Many of the CDs that were recorded during the time when I was Director of Music at DBCS are now available from the Old Boys Association.
