Of the most iconic song coming from Cuba (Havana) that reached worldwide success in 1997. It was recorded already before but did not get the deserved attention as often happens in music.

The song is basically a simple folk story from the sugarcane fields of Cuba.

A boy named Chan Chan and a girl named Juanica travel throughout Cuba searching for sand to build a house with. They finally arrive at the perfect beach and set about sifting the sand to remove the pebbles.
Things begin to get hotter between them: Juanica begins to shake her sieve and Chan Chan can't help but notice her body moving rhythmically beneath the folds of her dress.
He gets very aroused by the involuntary dance moves of his partner and being a shy boy, he leaves the beach in a hurry and goes seeking shelter beneath a tree, to chill off his warm spirits.
